We've just been informed that the new series of Poirot, in which Phil was to star, has been filmed back to front - Phil's episode - the final ever was the first one filmed. This was so that Suchet didn't have to say goodbye to his character with the ending of 'Curtain' (which if you've read it you will understand).
Curtain finished filming in October, but the first episode won't start filming until mid-May. With post production to follow and ITV going on record to say that the episodes will be broadcast over a 2 year period, it looks likely that Phil's episode, 'Curtain' will not air until late 2014, possibly even into 2015.
