How did 2012 turn out for Philip Glenister?29/12/2012 As 2012 draws to a close and we quickly approach 2013 we thought it would be nice to just take a moment and recap what has, undoubtedly, been a fantastic (and busy!) year for Philip Glenister.

Philip Glenister on Facebook and Twitter?23/12/2012 Dan Freeman, one of the people behind the Minister of Chance project, has tweeted that he has managed to persuade Philip to join Facebook and Twitter. These are the links to his official pages: Facebook and Twitter.
As yet there has been no official confirmation from Philip's website but we are working on getting confirmation as to whether it is or it isn't. Obviously, we will let you know either way as soon as we know. EDIT (24/12/12): It appears these are 'official' accounts but they are being run on Phil's behalf. We're not sure by who at the moment, but there you go. So you can follow them for news about Phil's projects etc but don't expect to be hearing from the man himself. Minster of Chance recording - photos up!23/12/2012 We have just uploaded more photos from the recording of the 5th episode of 'Minister of Chance' and there is now a specific page devoted to photos from this project. We had a bit of a debate about where to put the Minister of Chance photo page as it didn't really fit into any of the existing sections that we have on the site but we finally decided that, as the project's official website bills it as 'a sonic movie', we would add them to the 'Film' section. We have therefore updated the title of the 'Film' section to reflect the fact that it now contains photos from 'audio films' as well. Sky have confirmed that Mad Dogs series 3 will air on Sky 1 in April 2013. In their 2013 brochure they reveal the following information: The foursome's run of bad luck culminated in the series two finale as the law caught up with them in Morocco, and they're not in a good place in the comeback episode. Enduring various forms of interrogation in what appears to be a dilapidated prison in the middle of the desert, Woody, Quinn, Baxter and Rick's knack for attracting trouble is only set to continue. A new face has also been thrown into the mix; feisty fellow prisoner Mercedes, played by Jamie Winstone (Donkey Punch) sporting a very different look. But can she be trusted? They have also released the following pictures, which will be added to our Mad Dogs album. (Please click to view larger images)
The first pictures of Philip reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' at the Flicker Club's screening of 'White Christmas' have appeared. Please visit our dedicated page for more photos. The page will be updated as soon as more photos are available and these updates will be announced on our Twitter account.
On Sunday 16th December, Philip will be the special "surprise" guest at the Flicker Club's screening of White Christmas at Hampstead Theatre.
Before the screening, in true Flicker Club tradition, he will pay homage to the written word by reading, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas', an anonymous poem that is largely responsible for our modern day view of Father Christmas. Apologies for the short notice, but this event was only brought to our attention in the early hours of this morning. There are still a few seats available, so if you're in or around London and can get to Hampstead Theatre tonight (the screening starts at 7.30 and doors open from 6.30) then why not buy a ticket. Tickets are £20 an all proceeds go to charity. See the Hampstead Theatre website for more information and to buy tickets. The Minister of Chance facebook page today uploaded these photographs of Philip Glenister and Julian Wadham in the studio recording for episode 5 of the audio drama. As well as being here on the blog, this photos will be placed in the Misc. section for now whilst we decide where to put a dedicated 'Minister of Chance' album.
