Frequently Asked Questions
Are you Philip Glenister/Are you endorsed by Philip Glenister?
No, we are an unofficial fan site and are not endorsed by or affiliated with Philip Glenister, his agent, management, or any of his projects. It was created by fans as a place for other fans to enjoy, and find information on Philip Glenister. Philip Glenister does have an official website though which we recommend you visit.
Does Philip know of the site's existence?
Yes he does. We have communicated with Gareth, who runs Phil's official site, on several occasions and we have written to Philip regarding a different matter and told him about the site and informed him of the website address but his reply didn't mention if he'd visited or not. We like to hope that if he ever does visit the site he'll be pleased with what he finds. And if he ever does tell us what he thinks, we'll let you guys know.
Is Philip on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media websites?
No. Philip doesn't have a Facebook or Twitter account that he runs himself; he likes to keep himself to himself in that way. Two "official" accounts did appear on Facebook and Twitter back in December 2012 and are billed as being "run for him on his behalf to bring you news." See our news post about it here.
Can you pass on messages to Philip Glenister?
Unfortunately we are unable to do this. Please see this page for information on how to write to Philip.
How can we contact Philip Glenister?
If you wish to write to Philip we recommend doing so via his agents. Please see this page for information on how to do this.
Are comments left on this website moderated?
The administrators are great believers in free speech and as a result, comments do not require approval before appearing on the site at this time. Bear in mind, however, the administrators are notified of all comments posted and expect our readers will respect other contributors and act with dignity when commenting. If we start to notice people acting disrespectfully or we become a target for spam-bots (automatic software which spammers use to flood websites with spam) then we may have to reconsider our position.
Where can I watch Philip's projects on-line?
There are several legitimate sites that offer the opportunity to view Philip's work such as BBC iPlayer, iTunes or Amazon (but there may be a cost for this). Please do not ask us about where to view Philip's work illegally - we won't help you. If the project has been released to buy we encourage fans to support Philip’s work by making authorised purchases from sites such as Amazon. We will remove any comments where fans attempt to inform others of where they can access illegal downloads of shows in which Philip has appeared. However, we understand the wishes of fans to see some of Philip's earlier work which has not been made available for purchase. As a result of this we have made some of them available on our youtube channel, but the copyright still remains with the original production companies
