It is not yet clear whether the focus of the documentary will be the bombing of Manchester City Centre (the subject of the drama), the making of the film or a mixture of both. But from the two pictures below, we do know that Philip and co-star Daniel Rigby will be appearing in the documentary.
Over the last week, filming has been taking place for a documentary to accompany the broadcast of Philip's upcoming BBC drama, From There to Here. The documentary will be broadcast on BBC Four, while the drama itself is lined up for BBC One. It is not yet clear whether the focus of the documentary will be the bombing of Manchester City Centre (the subject of the drama), the making of the film or a mixture of both. But from the two pictures below, we do know that Philip and co-star Daniel Rigby will be appearing in the documentary. A number of tweets have also accompanied these pictures with one suggesting that 'From There to Here' will air around Easter time. Nothing is official yet, but we will keep you informed.

New title for #FromTheretoHere'?11/2/2014 The BBC drama about the 1996 IRA bombing of Manchester city centre may have had a title change. The series was announced in 2013 with the title, 'From There to Here' but we have received information today that it is now to be called 'Louder than Bombs' A tweet from Morven Christie who will star alongside Philip in the series, announced the title change and also seems to confirm the rumours we'd been hearing of a spring airdate. (You can view a screenshot of the tweet below.) We will wait to hear officially from the BBC though before changing anything on the site. The drama will tell the story of Daniel Cotton (played by Philip) whose life is rocked to the core when an IRA bomb rips through the city of Manchester. It is a family saga, spanning four years, from that fateful day and 'Football's Coming Home' in 1996 to New Labour sweeping to power in 1997, and finally to the hangover after the Millennium celebrations of 2000. Against the feel-good backdrop of Euro 96, it maps the emotional shockwaves generated by that bomb in the lives of two parallel families from different sides of the tracks. Also stars Liz White, Stephen Mackintosh and Bernard Hill.
A tweet from comedian David Walliams confirms that Philip will be rejoining the cast for a second series of BBC comedy, 'Big School'. David, who writes the show, tweeted earlier today; "Today we are reading through 'Big School' series 2 scripts with the cast for the first time. Great to see Catherine, Phil and Steve again." You can see a screenshot of the tweet below. We here at Philip Glenister Fans can't wait to see what's in store for Philip#s character, Mr Gunn in the next series. Will he ever get Miss Postern to take him seriously, or will he lose out to Mr Church?

These awards were established in 2012 to pay tribute to the cultural importance of audio drama, on air and online, and are intended to give recognition to the actors, writers, producers, sound designers and others who work in the genre. This year the awards were hosted by the BBC Director General Tony Hall and writer and performer Lenny Henry. Philip was there to present the award for Best Series or Serial. The winner was An Angel at My Table and was collected by actress, Lorraine Ashbourne; adapter, Anita Sullivan and producer Karen Rose. Looking great in a grey suit and open-necked blue shirt, Philip took on a presenting role alongside fellow actors and actresses including, Alison Steadman, Stephen Tompkinson, Jessica Raine, Mark Ravenhill, Meera Syal and Fiona Shaw. He was also there to honour long serving Archer's actress June Spencer (who plays Peggy Wolley in the drama) as she recieved a Lifetime Achievement Award. We're sure June , who has previously stated that Philip is her favourite actor, was thrilled with the flowers he presented her. We certainly would be!
