In a tweet today, Ant Anstead has confirmed that the special of For the Love of Cars will air on Channel 4 on the 20th November at 8pm.  The Lost Lotus: Restoring a Race Car follows Phil and Ant as they race to restore a Lotus Elite in time to race it at the Silverstone Classic.

Phil and Ant have been filming at Silverstone today for a special edition of their car restoration series, 'For the Love of Cars'. For the Love of Cars filming again.27/3/2016 It looks like Philip Glenister and Ant Anstead will be returning for more For The Love of Cars. Ant seemingly confirmed the news on his twitter account this week, posting a photo of himself and Phil, saying: Here we go again. This fella CRACKS ME UP!  For the Love of Cars sees Ant and Phil aim to restore old cars to their former glory. Ant does all the grafting whil Phil researches the stories of the cars and the people who are fanatical about them.
The two have already been spotted filming near Welwyn Garden City. They were spied outside the Rose and Crown on Upper Green in the village of Tewin (where Ant has his workshop) on Wednesday afternoon (March 24th). There is no further information on which cars will feature, but we are still hoping for a Gene Hunt style Audi Quattro! The production team behind 'For the Love of Cars' have today confirmed that the second series of the show will begin on Sunday 19th April at 8pm on Channel Four.
