San Diego Comic Con: Day 324/7/2016 Yesterday was a busy day for the stars of Outcast as they spent their third day at San Diego Comic Con and took part in several big interviews and panels. Big names on the interview list were CBR, SiriusXM and Entertainment Weekly. They also joined Nerdist on stage to take part in a panel. After that they headed straight to the Outcast booth to check out the merchandise and sign some autographs before taking part in their own dedicated Outcast Panel. On the panel were, Rober Kirkman (creator), Patrick Fugit (Kyle), Philip (Rev Anderson), Wrenn Schmidt (Megan Holter), Reg E Cathey (Chief Giles) and Chris Black (showrunner). There was also a cameo appearance by Gabriel Bateman, who plays Joshua in the pilot episode. We are expecting a video of the panel to surface in the next few days (they usually do) but while we wait for that, here are some of Philip’s reported highlights. Phil introduced himself to the crowd with a thinly-veiled barb at the current political climate in Britain. I’m from Brexiit, I mean, Little England...This is my first excursion to American TV, and I've been made very welcome Phil then talked about making the show and his character's dynamic with Kyle Barnes, who turns out to be a natural at dealing with the supernatural. The pilot exorcism took 2 days to shoot and was probably my favourite possession scene. When Reg E Cathey suggested that Season 2 should see the characters uprooted to the Bahamas, Phil added: I'll set up a missionary shop or something. A fan asked, How did Anderson and Giles become friends? Reg E Cathey said that in his mind, the two met as children. I have dear friends of mine that I grew up with in Alabama, that I've fused Philip and my friend Francis or Ken together... and so I think that their relationship, I'm dancing over stuff that's going to come, but their relationship is built on adolescent fun, danger, trust and the trust that comes out of being young and stupid and learning from your youth and stupidity Cinemax also debuted a brand new trailer for the remaining episodes of Outcast, which you can view below. San Diego Comic Con: Day 222/7/2016 The cast of Outcast took part in a breakfast panel this morning at Comic Con which was live streamed on the Outcast Facebook page. If you missed it, don't despair - you can watch both parts below. :)

Philip to attend San Diego Comic-Con29/6/2016 Outcast have today confirmed that Philip will be joining his Outcast co-stars at San Diego Comic Con this coming July. The event, which has been sold out for months, is the largest comic con in the world.
The cast will be taking part in a panel on Saturday 23rd July at 15.15pm PT in Room 6BCF. Yesterday (25th June) Philip was in Stuttgart to attend Comic Con Germany to promote Outcast. Philip took part in a photoshoot with fans and answered questions during a live panel Q&A. During the Q&A, Philip talkied about the lead up and filming of Outcast, was introduced to his character's dubbed German voice, predicted that Germany would win Euro 2016 and apologised for Britain's referendum decision to leave the EU!

On the panel were Philip, Patrick Fugit (Kyle Barnes), Wrenn Schmidt (Megan Holter), Reg E Cathey (Chief Giles) and Kate Lyn Sheil (Allison Baker) and it was hosted by a FOX TV representative. Philip's wife, Beth and his two children, Millie and Charlotte were also there. Philip recieved by far the loudest cheer when the cast were introduced and went on to talk about the show and his character, Rev Anderson. When asked about things that he's afraid of Phil said clowns, heights, snakes and Donald Trump. He also revealed that he schooled his American co-stars on how to make the perfect cup of tea, which then developed into a bit of an amusing rant about how not to make tea! He and Patrick also spoke about how they both did impressions and how they used to run lines as Michael Caine and Tom Cruise respectively, which of course the audience had to hear! And thanks to YouTube's 'An Englishman in San Diego', you can watch the whole panel below: Following the panel, the audience were treated to a screening of the first episode which is, in one word, scary. Phil wasn't joking when he said, you'll know if it's for you within the first 2 minutes. It promises to be very good though, all of us here certainly can't wait to see more episodes. The cast also posed for photos at the Outcast stand which was a replica of Kyles house, and had a go at making their own levitation gifs, before unveiling an Outcast mural and signing comics. Wearing, jeans, a pale blue shirt and dark blue jumper, Philip looked relaxed and happy, and was laughing and joking with his family, co-stars and fans. Full Gallery: MCM London ComicCon
