Philip stars in new marketing advert for Water UK

A new campaign by Water UK, starring Philip Glenister, has gone live today.

Water UK is a membership organisation which represents and works with the major water and wastewater service providers in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The 30 second advert, which you can view below, shows Phil in the shower talking about the good value of the water in the UK and the improvements that have been made to it's quality.

Philip Glenister's uSwitch advertising campaign is now UK-wide

You may remember that earlier this year, uSwtich ran an advertising campaign starring Philip Glenister in the North West. Well, great news - the campaign has now been rolled out across the UK so you could be seeing the adverts very soon.

The campaign is made up of 2 adverts - a 30 second one where Philip explains to you the virtues of comparing your energy prices (while making his breakfast) and a 10 second follow up where he asks you if you've done it yet.

uSwtich have kindly released both these adverts on the internet as well as a look behind the scenes featuring out-takes from filming. We have uploaded all three onto our site and they can be found on our dedicated uSwitch page.

Remember that 2009 M&S Christmas Advertising Campaign...

The one that starred a host of celebrities, including Philip? Many people remember one specific advert mainly because there was a bit of a furore about his comment in a few of the papers. That particular advert has been available on youtube for a while now.

But hands up... How many of you knew there were three different adverts filmed for this campaign?

If you didn't, don't despair! Because thanks to loyal fan Debs, we can bring you all three of the adverts on our site.
