Philip has been cast in a new animated CITV show that is set to air in summer 2019.
The comedy-adventure series The Rubbish World of Dave Spud, which is aimed at kids aged six to 11, focuses on the Spud family and their escapades. It is not yet known which character Philip will be giving voice to.
Philip is no stranger to audio work, he's narrated several documentary series and played parts in audio books and plays over the years. But this will only be his second foray into children's television. His first was reading several CBeebies Bedtime stories back in 2007 .
The Rubbish Life of Dave Spud is being made by London-based The Illuminated Film Company' and will also star Johnny Vegas, Jane Horrocks and Gina Yashere.
