The Internet Movie Database has Philip listed as starring in an episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot in 2013. The episode is entitled 'Curtain' and Philip will play a character called 'Sir William Boyd-Carrington'.
This role will see him reunited with 'Hidden' co-star David Suchet, who plays the fictional Belgian detective. Other stars of this episode are, Hugh Fraser, Helen Baxendale and Shaun Dingwall (who starred alongside Philip in 'Lloyd and Hill').
We assume this is the filming commitment that prevents Philip from continuing with the role of Walter Harrison in 'This House', but we cannot confirm that as yet.
