On Wednesday, Philip joined a host of other celebrities to play in the Pro-Am curtain raiser to this week's PGA tournament at Wentworth in support of Shooting Star CHASE. Also present were Jamie Redknapp, Andrew Strauss, Chris Robshaw and Theo Walcott plus another Shooting Star patron Chris Evans.
The amateurs were challenged to take part in a ‘hit the green’ competition on the 14th hole, a tough, uphill par 3 in return for a donation to the charity, which was generously supported by all the players.

The winners of the competition were Ian Poulter, Ian Botham and Jamie Carragher and Ian Wright, with a five shot win and a total of 20 under par. Tied for second were the teams of 2006 BMW PGA Champion David Howell, and 2013 Open de Espana winner Raphael Jacquelin.
