The drama is set in the aftermath of the 1996 IRA bombing of the Arndale shopping centre in Manchester and follows Daniel Cotton, a Manchester family man. who is torn between the life he wants and the life he could have.
The exact transmission date is still to be confirmed by the BBC but we know it definitely won't air on Tuesdays, as that drama slot is reserved throughout May for Happy Valley and Wednsesday night is Panorama night, which is unlikely to change.
It might be important to note, however that The Crimson Field will broadcast it's final episode on Sunday 11th May, so it is possible that From There to Here could fill the Sunday night 9pm slot from the 18th. If this happens, it will mean that Philip will be on Channel 4 at 8pm and then BBC One straight after at 9pm. Lucky us!
As we say, this is all speculation at the moment but watch this space - we'll bring you more news as soon as we have it.
