After a tiresome game of badminton a group of friends go for a night out at a local restaurant. They indulge in some tapas and a few drinks, which sounds like a lot of fun - but ultimately somebody has to pay the bill at the end of the night. What has started out as a pleasant evening ends with a shocking twist, as an argument about who is going to pick up the bill erupts - and then spirals out of control.

The synopsis for the episode reads as follows:
Sick from her bullet wound and mistrustful of her colleagues, Nancy desperately needs an ally - but she can’t open up to Hayley for fear of putting them both in danger. When the police make a public appeal hoping to shake out the missing witness, Nancy is unexpectedly forced into the spotlight, leaving her exposed and bringing an old enemy out of the woodwork - Hayley’s ex-boyfriend, Shay Nash (Joe Absolom). Soon after Nancy receives a package, the contents of which, prove that someone is on to her. Nancy’s suspicions focus on her partner, Gunner, who watches her like a hawk. A colleague from London, DS Kevin O’Dowd (Rob James-Collier), sees her distress and wants to help. Nancy warns O’Dowd there’s a leak on the team - but can’t say more for fear of exposure. Meanwhile the murder investigation focuses on Frank Le Saux’s accountant, Theo Kettler (Rupert Procter). Already suspicious of Theo, Hayley questions her mother about the real nature of her father’s business, but Cherie Le Saux (Amanda Burton) is evasive. Isolated and anxious, Hayley turns for comfort to Le Saux family driver Darryl Quinn (Lorne MacFadyen). When a witness links Theo to a Newhaven garage suspected of drugs trafficking, police mount a surveillance operation. Pursuing her own dangerous investigation, Nancy finds herself at the same location – only to stumble into a second shocking murder.

Yesterday was a busy day for the stars of Outcast as they spent their third day at San Diego Comic Con and took part in several big interviews and panels.
Big names on the interview list were CBR, SiriusXM and Entertainment Weekly. They also joined Nerdist on stage to take part in a panel.
After that they headed straight to the Outcast booth to check out the merchandise and sign some autographs before taking part in their own dedicated Outcast Panel. On the panel were, Rober Kirkman (creator), Patrick Fugit (Kyle), Philip (Rev Anderson), Wrenn Schmidt (Megan Holter), Reg E Cathey (Chief Giles) and Chris Black (showrunner). There was also a cameo appearance by Gabriel Bateman, who plays Joshua in the pilot episode.
We are expecting a video of the panel to surface in the next few days (they usually do) but while we wait for that, here are some of Philip’s reported highlights.
Phil introduced himself to the crowd with a thinly-veiled barb at the current political climate in Britain.
I’m from Brexiit, I mean, Little England...This is my first excursion to American TV, and I've been made very welcome
Phil then talked about making the show and his character's dynamic with Kyle Barnes, who turns out to be a natural at dealing with the supernatural.
The pilot exorcism took 2 days to shoot and was probably my favourite possession scene.
When Reg E Cathey suggested that Season 2 should see the characters uprooted to the Bahamas, Phil added:
I'll set up a missionary shop or something.
A fan asked, How did Anderson and Giles become friends? Reg E Cathey said that in his mind, the two met as children.
I have dear friends of mine that I grew up with in Alabama, that I've fused Philip and my friend Francis or Ken together... and so I think that their relationship, I'm dancing over stuff that's going to come, but their relationship is built on adolescent fun, danger, trust and the trust that comes out of being young and stupid and learning from your youth and stupidity
Cinemax also debuted a brand new trailer for the remaining episodes of Outcast, which you can view below.
