Cbeebies Bedtime Story is a show broadcast as part of the Bedtime Hour, where a well known celebrity reads a different story each night.
For two weeks in February/March 2006 Philip and his Life on Mars co-star John Simm read five stories each. These broadcasts coincided with the broadcast of the final episode of Series 1 of Life on Mars.
