Mad Dogs (2011-2013)
Four friends, Quinn (Philip Glenister), Woody (Max Beesley), Baxter (John Simm), and Rick (Marc Warren) arrive in Majorca to visit their old friend Alvo (Ben Chaplin) who is now a wealthy property tycoon enjoying the trappings of an ex-pat lifestyle.
One by one Alvo asks his friends what they've done with their lives, whether they're truly happy, wouldn't they rather live like him?
The hedonistic mood of the friends' soon turns sour when they realise Alvo isn't quite the man they thought he was. The luxury yacht they have borrowed turns out to be stolen; Alvo has dragged them into something dangerous. When murder is committed, they realise their nightmare has only just begun.

Trivia
- Philip has worked with two of the main cast members before on Life on Mars and State of Play; John Simm and Marc Warren. He also starred with John Simm in Clocking Off and Tu£sday and Marc Warren in Wycliffe.
- The title is taken from the 1931 song "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" written by Noël Coward. The opening line of most verses is "Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun" and refers to the habits of English holiday makers abroad.
