Team Wales win the 2019 Celebrity Cup14/7/2019 For the second year running, Wales have won the Celebrity Cup at Celtic Manor. The team, made up of Phil, Scott Quinnell (Captain), Gethin Jones, Jonathan Davies, Gareth Edwards and Tom Shanklin, beat Ireland in the final to take home the trophy. It was a mixed tournament for Phil personally though, as he lost his first and second round matches, but a good night's sleep last night seemed to pay off with him winning both his matches today. Philip is to star in Carnival Films’ Julian Fellowes-penned British period drama Belgravia for ITV and Epix, alongside Tasmein Greig, Harriet Walter and Alice Eves.
Belgravia is a tale of secrets and scandals set in 1840s London, when the upper echelons of society began to rub shoulders with the emerging industrial nouveau riche. But the story begins on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, when the Duchess of Richmond throws a party in Brussels for the Duke of Wellington. Among the guests are James and Anne Trenchard, who are living on the profits of newfound trading success. Their young daughter Sophia has caught the eye of Edmund Bellasis, the son and heir of one of the richest and most prominent families in England. Twenty-five years later, when the two families are settled into the newly developed area of Belgravia, the events of the ball, and the secrets, still resonate. Philip will play businessman, James Trenchard  Philip is to reprise his roles as Pierce Brosnan's character, Sam in the BBC Comic Relief spoof of Mamma Mia: Here We Go Yet Again. Most of the cast of the 2009 spoof of the first film are back to reprise their roles to recreate memorable moments from the smash hit sequel, including Jennifer Saunders, Alan Carr, Miranda Hart and Sue Perkins. Philip on TCA Press Tour10/2/2019 Philip has been across the pond this week,, promoting the first series of Living the Dream, which is due to hit US Streaming Service 'BritBox' soon, to the Teleivison Critics Association He was accompanied by his series 1 co-stars, Kevin Nash and Kim Fields.
