Philip to appear on new Harry Hill show17/1/2017 Philip is set to appear on a new TV panel show later in the year. And we have been asked to help! Harry Hill's Alien Fun Capsule, will see two teams tasked with saving planet earth from alien invasion! Each team must find clips, people, basically anything that is fun or funny enough for Harry to place in a capsule which, in the event that we're invaded by aliens, we can present to them to demonstrate earthlings are good fun and therefore worthy of saving. Over a series of rounds, the two teams of two present Harry with fun stuff which Harry must adjudicate on and ultimately decide what's in and what's out of the Fun Capsule with the triumphant team winning bragging rights. Along the way there will be sketches, studio items and special guests. And the occasional appearance of an alien! It is not yet known what form Philip's appearance will take - whether he will be on one of the teams or just putting in a brief appearance., but we have been contacted by the production company with a request to use some of our content on the show. They would like to use some photos from our Fan Encounters page to feature on the show. We are extremely honoured to have been asked to participate in this way - it's a huge compliment! If you are interested in having your photo with Philip featured on our fansite and on the show, please do get In touch The show will record at the end of the month and air on ITV later in the year. Trailer for The Level episode 23/10/2016 ITV have released a trailer for the second episode of The Level, and good news - it does feature Phil's character!! The synopsis for the episode reads as follows: Sick from her bullet wound and mistrustful of her colleagues, Nancy desperately needs an ally - but she can’t open up to Hayley for fear of putting them both in danger. When the police make a public appeal hoping to shake out the missing witness, Nancy is unexpectedly forced into the spotlight, leaving her exposed and bringing an old enemy out of the woodwork - Hayley’s ex-boyfriend, Shay Nash (Joe Absolom). Soon after Nancy receives a package, the contents of which, prove that someone is on to her. Nancy’s suspicions focus on her partner, Gunner, who watches her like a hawk. A colleague from London, DS Kevin O’Dowd (Rob James-Collier), sees her distress and wants to help. Nancy warns O’Dowd there’s a leak on the team - but can’t say more for fear of exposure. Meanwhile the murder investigation focuses on Frank Le Saux’s accountant, Theo Kettler (Rupert Procter). Already suspicious of Theo, Hayley questions her mother about the real nature of her father’s business, but Cherie Le Saux (Amanda Burton) is evasive. Isolated and anxious, Hayley turns for comfort to Le Saux family driver Darryl Quinn (Lorne MacFadyen). When a witness links Theo to a Newhaven garage suspected of drugs trafficking, police mount a surveillance operation. Pursuing her own dangerous investigation, Nancy finds herself at the same location – only to stumble into a second shocking murder. Watch the trailer... Episode 2 of The Level air this Friday (7th October) at 9pm on ITV1.
The Level to air on 30th September14/9/2016 Philip's new 6-part ITV drama, The Level, will premiere on Friday 30th September at 9pm.
The Level is set in Brighton and follows Detective Sergeant Nancy Devlin, who has a secret double life. Her exemplary police career masks a covert attachment to shady businessman and drugs trafficker, Frank Le Saux. Inextricably linked to Frank from childhood as the father of her best friend, Nancy has been playing a dangerous game to ensure that Frank always remains off the police radar. She soon finds herself at the centre of an investigation which puts her at risk of exposure and sees her stalked by a killer intent on destroying her. Friday night has never been a particularly strong night for drama, with audiences traditionally preferring Friday nights to be comedy nights. Added to the fact that ITV has crammed its weekly schedule full of drama - a different one each night, it could be tricky for The Level to get good audience share. Hopefully, the star-studded cast which also includes Rob James Collier (Downton Abbey) and Amanda Burton (Peak Practice, Silent Witness) will help boost it's ratings. New trailer released for The Level8/9/2016 ITV have released a new trailer for The Level, starring Philip as gangster, Frank Le Saux. The tagline to the trailer is 'coming soon' and sources at ITV tell us that it's more than likely going to air before the end of this month. Fingers crossed!
