Yesterday (25th June) Philip was in Stuttgart to attend Comic Con Germany to promote Outcast. Philip took part in a photoshoot with fans and answered questions during a live panel Q&A. During the Q&A, Philip talkied about the lead up and filming of Outcast, was introduced to his character's dubbed German voice, predicted that Germany would win Euro 2016 and apologised for Britain's referendum decision to leave the EU!

As well as promoting Outcast, he was asked what his favourite film about football was. He said that it wasn't a film but a scene in Kes - Brian Connelly pretending to be Bobby Charlton. While on the subject of movies, Philip also revealed that while filming Outcast, he visited the Studio Movie Grill in Charlotte - where you have a folding airplane style table and press a button to call a waiter. He ordered a burger, chips and a pint. He was “happy as larry".
Film critic Mark Kermode, who was also in the show, was outraged. “Was there no part of you that though you should be concentrating on the film?” Phil replied, “It’s Bond!” This lead Kermode to joke that, “that answer is why you’re not in the running to play Bond!" Philip joined in with eclair and brandy tasting and helped to make the shows dessert - a honey, ricotta and raisin cake. Other topics covered included whether he has ever had a supernatural experience and the fact that he once wanted to be a milk-man! You can watch the interveiw below. We have left in the portion with London Mayor Sadiq Kahn too as there is a bit of interaction between him and Philip. After the show, Philip took part in 'One Thing...' where he is asked questions where he has to give just one answer, for example, 'One thing you would say to your 18 year old self.' Last night saw the LA Premiere of Outcast at the iconic Hollywood Forever Cemetery, two days before it's US broadcast. Fans who were lucky enough to snap up the free tickets to the event were treated to screening of the first two episodes of the series. Several members of the cast were in LA for the event, including Philip who said of his character: "I play the Reverend Anderson who is a soldier of God. Kind of a big fish in a small pond. The cast posed for photos on the red carpet before been shown to thier exclusive, front row seats, complete with branded cushions and blankets (it can get quite chilly at Hollywood Forever!) for the screenings. The Press Association also released a video featuring a short interview with Philip and some footage from the event. Why not take a look at our extensive photo gallery to see more of the action.
Full gallery: Outcast LA Premiere Yesterday, we were lucky enough to attend MCM Comic Con, where we met Philip, attended a screening of his new drama Outcast, and heard him (and the rest of the cast) speak about the series. On the panel were Philip, Patrick Fugit (Kyle Barnes), Wrenn Schmidt (Megan Holter), Reg E Cathey (Chief Giles) and Kate Lyn Sheil (Allison Baker) and it was hosted by a FOX TV representative. Philip's wife, Beth and his two children, Millie and Charlotte were also there. Philip recieved by far the loudest cheer when the cast were introduced and went on to talk about the show and his character, Rev Anderson. When asked about things that he's afraid of Phil said clowns, heights, snakes and Donald Trump. He also revealed that he schooled his American co-stars on how to make the perfect cup of tea, which then developed into a bit of an amusing rant about how not to make tea! He and Patrick also spoke about how they both did impressions and how they used to run lines as Michael Caine and Tom Cruise respectively, which of course the audience had to hear! And thanks to YouTube's 'An Englishman in San Diego', you can watch the whole panel below: Following the panel, the audience were treated to a screening of the first episode which is, in one word, scary. Phil wasn't joking when he said, you'll know if it's for you within the first 2 minutes. It promises to be very good though, all of us here certainly can't wait to see more episodes. The cast also posed for photos at the Outcast stand which was a replica of Kyles house, and had a go at making their own levitation gifs, before unveiling an Outcast mural and signing comics. Wearing, jeans, a pale blue shirt and dark blue jumper, Philip looked relaxed and happy, and was laughing and joking with his family, co-stars and fans. Full Gallery: MCM London ComicCon
