Philip Glenister on This Morning3/4/2017 Philip Glenister appeared on today's This Morning to promote the second series of Outcast. He gave a brief synopsis of the show and talked about filming and those stunts he keeps trying to get out of. There was also a brief appearance from Phil's youngest daughter, Charlotte as it was revealed she had helped her Dad perfect his American accent. Speaking on This Morning, Philip teased a little more information about his next project.
We already new from his Radio 2 interview last week, that the show was being made by Sky and filmed in America, but today, Philip revealed it would be a 6-part drama that would be filmed in Savannah, Georgia. The as yet unnamed project, will tell the story of a British family who move to Florida and buy a trailer park. As usual, we will bring you more information as it's revealed. This week, Audible have announced the production of an audiobook spin off the Alien film franchise. Based on the 2014 novel, Alien: River of Pain is set between the first and second films in the franchise and chronicles the birth and backstory of Aliens' Newt. Philip stars in the play, which explores the destruction of Hadley's Hope, a research and mining colony in 2157 - as part of an all-star cast. Anna Friel, Alexander Siddig, Michelle Ryan, Colin Salmon and Mark Warren all feature in River of Pain, from award-winning radio producer Dirk Maggs. Ellen Ripley finally returns to Earth, only to discover that LV-426 - resting place of the Nostromo and the xenomorph she first encountered - has been renamed Acheron.
